Dee DanielsDee Daniels joined the Anna and John J. Sie Center for Down Syndrome, the medical care center for the Linda Crnic Institute for Down Syndrome in November 2010. Dee has a passion for working with children who are differently-abled (including her own daughter who is hearing impaired), and has dedicated her career to this population for the past 15 years.

Dee brings over twenty years of clinical experience to the Sie Center, as well as the important experience of building new medical clinics from the ground up. She developed and managed the New Onset Seizure Clinic at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. And she has published in the areas of gastroesophageal reflux, epilepsy, adoption and medication management, reflecting her wide range of interests and expertise for the medically fragile and undeserved.

Dee worked in neurology with a focus on epilepsy for nine years. She also practiced in clinic serving children who had been adopted internationally and taught nursing school for 17 years. She coordinated the keto­genic diet program, vagal nerve stimulator and Tuberous Sclerosis Clinic at Children’s Hospital Colorado.

Dee received her BSN from Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, and her MSN at the University of Cincinnati. She lives with her husband Steve, and family in the Denver, Colorado.
