Programs & Conferences

Prior to its formal establishment in 2009, the Global Down Syndrome Foundation launched several programs through the Down Syndrome Educational Fund. Today they are incorporated into a larger base of programs and conferences that make up a key component of the Foundation’s work. The goal of the Foundation’s programs and conferences are three-fold:

(1) Provide the highest quality activities and education to people with Down syndrome and their families

(2) Learn from programs launched by other organizations, in turn encourage and help others to launch similar programs

(3) Make sure that people with Down syndrome have the opportunity to have fun, gain confidence, excel and reach their potential
