to Celebrate World Down Syndrome Day!

Down syndrome is caused by having 3 copies of chromosome 21. As such, the United Nations and over 100 countries, chose 3/21, to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day. Global celebrates with hundreds of advocates at the Colorado Capitol and activates families across the country with the Global Lights the Way Campaign.

Join the Global Down Syndrome Foundation, the Linda Crnic Institute for Down Syndrome and the Anna and John J. Sie Center for Down Syndrome at the Colorado State Capitol for a celebration with Governor Jared Polis!

The Global team, self-advocates, and other organizations serving the differently-abled will enjoy a fun photo op on the West Steps followed by announcements and light refreshments inside the Capitol.

Please make sure to RSVP and to be on time! You must be on the steps no later than 9:00am to be in the photo.
