Since Down syndrome is the least-funded genetic condition in the United States, fundraising and government advocacy to correct the alarming disparity of national funding for people with Down syndrome is a major goal.<\/p>\n<p>The Global Down Syndrome Foundation created and organizes the <a title=\"\u0938\u0941\u0902\u0926\u0930 \u092c\u0928\u094b, \u0916\u0941\u0926 \u092c\u0928\u094b \u092b\u0948\u0936\u0928 \u0936\u094b\" href=\"http:\/\/bebeautifulbeyourself.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">\u0938\u0941\u0902\u0926\u0930 \u092c\u0928\u094b, \u0916\u0941\u0926 \u092c\u0928\u094b \u092b\u0948\u0936\u0928 \u0936\u094b<\/a> &#8211; the single-largest annual fundraiser benefiting people with Down syndrome. Sie in 2009 in Denver, Colorado, the Global Down Syndrome Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to significantly improving the lives of people with Down syndrome through research, medical care, education and advocacy.<\/p>\n<p>When the Sies\u2019 first granddaughter was born with Down syndrome, the family personally experienced many disturbing situations around the diagnosis, healthcare and education of their granddaughter.
