The 10th Anniversary will underscore and celebrate a decade of beauty and achievement. The marquee event is the <strong>largest Down syndrome fundraiser in the world<\/strong> and will be held during Down Syndrome Awareness Month on Saturday, Oct. 20, 2018 at the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel, 1550 Court Place in Denver.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000; line-height: 22px;\">Renner, Miller, McGinley and Booth will join Global\u2019s 2018 <em>Quincy Jones Exceptional Advocacy Award (Q Award)<\/em> winners and film stars, <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/bebeautifulbeyourself.org\/colin-farrell\">Colin Farrell<\/a><\/strong> \u305d\u3057\u3066 <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/bebeautifulbeyourself.org\/zack-gottsagen\">\u30b6\u30c3\u30af\u30fb\u30b4\u30c3\u30c4\u30a1\u30fc\u30b2\u30f3<\/a><\/strong>. Since the establishment of the <em>Be Beautiful Be Yourself \u30d5\u30a1\u30c3\u30b7\u30e7\u30f3\u30b7\u30e7\u30fc<\/em>, <strong>the event has raised over $16 million which underwrites life-changing research and life-saving medical care<\/strong>. Global\u2019s recent lobbying efforts to Congress and outreach to the National Institutes of Health (NIH) resulted in the first significant <a href=\"https:\/\/www.globaldownsyndrome.org\/congress-national-institutes-health-prioritize-syndrome-research-funding-2018-budget\/\">increase of NIH Down syndrome research funding<\/a> in nearly 20 years, from $35 million in 2017 to $58 million in 2018.
