Health & Wellness Programs Coordinator

Mackenzie Cecil assists with coordinating health and wellness programs serving children and adults with Down syndrome, including Global’s Dare to Play Football Camp with Ed McCaffrey, Dare to Cheer Camp with the Denver Bronco Cheerleaders, the Dare to Play Soccer Camp with Regis University and the Colorado Rapids, the Be Beautiful Be Yourself Dance Class with the Colorado Ballet, the Dare to Play Tennis with Gates Tennis Center, Dare to Play Football with the CU Buffs and Dare to Cheer with the CU Buffs.

In May of 2017, Mackenzie earned her bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Colorado. Throughout school Mackenzie volunteered for TRU Community Care, a hospice organization in Lafayette, with the grief services department. This experience led her to pursue a career in non-profits. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, skiing, camping and spending time with her family and friends.
