Melanie FosterDevelopment Coordinator

As Development Coordinator, Melanie supports the development team by identifying, qualifying and cultivating new groups of donors through prospect research strategies. She is also responsible for maintaining donor records, research, annual fund strategies and participates in other development related and marketing activities.

Melanie graduated from Ohio University where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism with a minor in Political Science and a specialization in Communications. As an undergraduate, Melanie wrote and created on-air broadcasts for the local Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) affiliate in Athens, OH. She also founded Global Health Advocates of Ohio University, a non-profit health organization focused on raising public awareness and funds for victims of international health crises.

Melanie fell in love with Colorado while interning at the National Civic League, a Denver based non-profit whose goal it is to advance civic engagement in communities across the nation. Out of the office, Melanie enjoys hiking, camping, board games, skiing and live concerts.
