The Courage Classic Dare to Ride Team is organized by the Global Down Syndrome Foundation to support the Anna and John J. Sie Center For Down Syndrome at Children's Hospital Colorado, one of the largest pediatric medical care centers for Down syndrome in the world.

There were over a hundred attendees who helped us celebrate the Salah Foundation and the Salah family receiving the 21X21 Campaign Leadership Award and the Vollbracht/Winfield families receiving the Community Leadership Award. We thank Governor Hickenlooper for his warm welcoming remarks and the proclamation!

Just minutes away from Global’s headquarters, the luxury bedding company held a fabulous fundraising event for Global during an amazing evening! We are so appreciative of The Brass Bed’s support to improve the lives of people with Down syndrome.

Denver Broncos running back CJ Anderson and his girlfriend Raquel co-hosted a donor appreciation dinner for Global. The couple are staunch supporters of Global's medical care benefiting people with Down syndrome.

Meet Sujeet Desai, his lovely mother Sindoor and his cousin Santosh. We had a wonderful day touring the Sie Center, the Crnic Institute and meeting lots people. Sujeet is now back in NY preparing for his upcoming musical performances.

2015 Colorado Rockies Ability Clinic. Rockies pitchers Christian Friedrich & Chad Bettis, Rockies coaches, Rockies staff Jim Kellogg, Dallas Davis, Antigone Vigil (and more) and Safelite AutoGlass volunteers, and Global/Special Olympics Colorado athletes participated in the event.

John Lynch's Salute the Stars is designed to honor student-athletes, including some with special needs, from the Denver and greater Colorado areas. It is the Lynch's intention to recognize what is 'right' with our youth today. The student-athletes who are honored excel in academics, athletics and community involvement.

Glee star Jane Lynch brought her See Jane Sing! tour to Denver and hosted fortunate Global supporters. After her performance, she met Global\'s excited self-advocates and their families.

Rockies pitcher Kyle Kendrick has a passion for making a difference in the lives of children with Down syndrome, which inspired him to create Kendrick's Krew, a program he started in Philadelphia and has carried on with the Rockies.

The Courage Classic is an annual benefit ride held in July near Vail, Colorado. It is a three-day, 155 mile bicycle tour through scenic mountain passes. Donations benefit The Children\'s Hospital and the Anna and John J. Sie Center for Down Syndrome.

Diamonds in the Rough is a non-profit foundation created by Hyde Park, Inc. to support local charities and individuals in their quest to become treasured gems. Treasured gems are those who are challenged and in need of support to attain brilliance not otherwise available to them.

The John Lynch Foundation’s mission is to develop young leaders and it does so by recognizing and rewarding deserving student-athletes from Denver and Colorado at large, who not only have excelled in academics and athletics, but also have demonstrated a commitment to community service.

The Global Down Syndrome Foundation Research Roundtable attracted over 400 people from 40 states and 8 countries to Children’s Hospital Colorado in conjunction with the NDSC Annual Convention on July 18, 2013. Afterwards the audience was treated to a private performance by Grammy-winning singer/songwriter Colbie Caillat.

Fathers Day weekend Global Down Syndrome Foundation joined with other riders to raise money to improve the loves of people with Down syndrome.

The Global Down Syndrome Foundation launched the Zoo Intern Program for adults with Down syndrome in the summer of 2011. The Zoo Intern Program provides two summer internships to people with Down syndrome at the Denver Zoo.

Self-advocate Alan Beals had the opportunity to tour the Crnic Institute and learn about the exciting research being done there. His tour guides were Dr. Tom Blumenthal and Amber Sorenson, the first Blumenthal Graduate Fellowship in Down Syndrome Recipient.
