On Saturdays this September, join the Global Down Syndrome Foundation for the 2013 Dare to Play Soccer Camp! Then on Saturday, Oct. 5, campers will take part in a mini-game at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in front of thousands of fans! Colorado Rapids Technical and Youth staff, Rapids Academy players, and Regis University PALS will be on hand to provide expertise and guidance during the camp.

The camp will be held for males and females with Down syndrome ages 7 and up to learn the basics, camaraderie and the joy of soccer. No experience is necessary, and all abilities are welcome!

Practices for this year’s Dare to Play Soccer camp will take place on Saturdays from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park – home of the Colorado Rapids. Dates of the practices are:

  • Saturday, Sept. 7
  • Saturday, Sept. 14
  • Saturday, Sept. 21
