About Global’s Dare to Play Tennis Camp with the University of Denver
Global’s Dare to Play Tennis Camp takes place twice a week for 6 weeks – a total of 12 classes. For males and females, ages 7 and up, this annual Global summer camp teaches participants with and without Down syndrome tennis skills, hand-eye-coordination, and love of the game. The camp culminates in an “Exhibition Day” at Denver Tennis Park, where our campers are coached by tennis legends, such as the nationally-ranked Cameron Lickle and former world champions such as Mats Wilander and Jimmy Connors. The Exhibition Day ends with a fun and exciting “Exhibition Match” between the All-Star coaches.
