Shout Out To Nordstrom for Celebrating the Differently-Abled

People
Eleven years ago, Angela Rockwood had a thriving career as a model — until she was in a car accident that left her without the use of her legs and with very little mobility in her arms and hands.
She was largely immobilized but not down and out.
Flash forward to today and you’ll find Angela in the Sundance Channel series “Push Girls,” and now as a model for Nordstrom — part of an ad campaign that has included individuals with Down syndrome, including a young boy named Noah last year.
Check out the full story on People.com and tune into the Sundance Channel tonight (Monday, Aug. 27) for the episode of “Push Girls” that features Angela’s shoot for the department store.
