The Global Down Syndrome Foundation’s 2016 Hollywood Ball

The Global Down Syndrome Foundation’s research and initiatives focusing on adults with Down syndrome were celebrated and propelled forward at the 2016 Hollywood Ball presented by The Salah Foundation. The fundraising gala featured a cocktail reception, gourmet dinner, live auction, and dancing for all attendees. Global also honored Megan Bomgaars, Cara George, and Alison Brennan with 2016 Community Leadership Awards. Megan, star of A&E’s docuseries Born This Way, was honored for encouraging other self-advocates to participate in various research studies. Cara and Alison received the award for their advocacy and generous support for Global’s work in the community.
