Global’s 2016 Dare to Play Tennis Exhibition Day

Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper, First Lady Robin Pringle Hickenlooper and former world No. 1 tennis player, Mats Wilander highlighted the Global Down Syndrome Foundation’s Dare to Play Tennis Camp Exhibition Day on August 8, 2016. The celebration day was the culmination of a 12-class camp where athletes with Down syndrome and their typical peers learned basic tennis skills. Cameron Lickle, Wilander’s longtime training partner, also led instructional sessions during the event at the Gates Tennis Center in Denver. To conclude a memorable day, camp attendees watched their coaches in action during an exhibition match against the Governor and First Lady.
