The fundraiser, a premier event in Denver, features honoree Music Icon Quincy Jones, singer-songwriter Josh Kelley and a Saks Fifth Avenue fashion show. The event, organized by the Global Down Syndrome Foundation, will benefit the Linda Crnic Institute for Down Syndrome at the Anschutz Medical Campus and is scheduled to take place at the Hyatt Regency Denver at the Colorado Convention Center on Saturday, October 10, 2009.
Expect local sports celebrities such as John Lynch, Ed McCaffrey and Billy Van Heusen, professional Saks models, Denver Nuggets dancers and beautiful models who happen to have Down syndrome to light up the cat walk!
Luxury auction items from a Roberto Coin “Jewels of Italy” experience to a fully customized Harley Davidson are featured at this must attend event, which expects to raise $1 million with 1200 people in attendance.

The Linda Crnic Institute for Down Syndrome aims to eradicate the medical and cognitive ill effects associated with the condition and significantly improve the lives of people with Down syndrome throughout the world. The institute is located on the Anschutz Medical Campus and is the first organization to incorporate basic research, clinical research and clinical care for the benefit of people with Down syndrome.
