Three Children from Global Down Syndrome Foundation Programs to Be in Colorado Ballet’s “Nutcracker” This December

WHAT
Three children from Global Down Syndrome Foundation (“Global”) programs will be on stage for performances of the Colorado Ballet’s holiday classic “Nutcracker” this December. During the show, they will be partyers who go out on stage with other children and adults as they celebrate the season.
The Colorado Ballet is a partner with the Global Down Syndrome Foundation in the Be Beautiful Be Yourself Dance Class. The classes teach ballet movement, music appreciation, rhythm and basic dance steps to children ages 5-14 who have Down syndrome. Learn more at GlobalDownSyndrome.org.
WHO
Ben Levine is an 8-year-old boy from Aurora, Colorado, who has been in the Be Beautiful Be Yourself Dance Class since 2010. Sophia Whitten is a 10-year-old girl from Denver who has been in the Be Beautiful Be Yourself Dance Class since 2010. Kennedy Garcia is a 9-year-old girl from Colorado Springs. All three children were models in Global’s Be Beautiful Be Yourself Fashion Show this year.
