Diamonds in the Rough is a non-profit foundation created by Hyde Park, Inc. to support local charities and individuals in their quest to become treasured gems. Treasured gems are those who are challenged and in need of support to attain brilliance not otherwise available to them. In 2000, Hyde Park Jewelers founded the Diamonds in the Rough Charity Dinner & Celebrity Golf Tournament, an annual event held benefiting Denver Health Foundation, Judi’s House, Global Down Syndrome Foundation and YouthBiz. National and local celebrities, current and former professional athletes, and top business and community leaders gather for the annual Diamonds in the Rough Classic.
