Overview & Speaker

In this exciting GLOBAL Webinar, Sarah Mann will present on the importance of movement in teens and adults with Down syndrome by safely and effectively improving participation, health, and fitness through exercise. Participants will be provided with:

  • Overview of physiology of teens and adults with Down syndrome.
  • Discussion on common musculoskeletal issues for teens and adults with Down syndrome.
  • Education on foot structure, foot support, and footwear.
  • Introduction to the Mann Method™ PT approach to PT for individuals with Down syndrome with a focus on exercise to improve strength, hip stability, balance and endurance.
