Laurier Kinney has a younger sister with Down syndrome, who has inspired her into the field of speech language pathology. Kinney is currently a graduate student at Loyola University Maryland, where she is Dr. Libby Kumin’s graduate assistant. She also works with clients with Down syndrome at the Loyola Clinical Centers in Columbia, MD.
