Summary: At the Down Syndrome Clinic within Phoenix Children’s Barrow Neurological Institute, we provide comprehensive, compassionate care for children and their families. As the only clinic in Phoenix focused on supporting children with Down Syndrome, we partner closely with parents and children to lead fulfilling lives at every stage – from understanding a prenatal diagnosis to helping babies reach developmental milestones and supporting growing children and adolescents as they navigate school and friendships.
When a child is seen in our multidisciplinary clinic, a team of specialists work together to provide coordinated care. Led by a developmental pediatrician and supported by a skilled nurse practitioner, our team also includes experts in occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy, and feeding therapy. Prenatal, Infant, and Child clinics are available. We are here to support growth, health, and well-being every step of the way.
