Summary: The CDRC multidisciplinary Down Syndrome Program provides evaluations for children with Down syndrome and it is the largest dedicated Down syndrome clinic in the Pacific Northwest. Patients spend a half-day seeing specialists in Developmental Pediatrics/Pediatric Neurology, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Pathology and Audiology. We maintain close relationships with the OHSU Casey Eye Institute, the Pediatric Cardiology, Hematology-Oncology, Sleep and Otolaryngology groups at Doernbecher Children’s Hospital for those who require specialized evaluations. Parents and referring providers receive copies of notes from the comprehensive evaluations. Clinicians from our program also provide community lectures and consultation to local schools as well as Oregon and Washington parent support groups.
